I ordered Vaughan Basset Bedroom Set called Emily's Cottage from a furniture store in Oak Lawn, Illinois. The order and deposit was placed on March 3, 2004. Today is August 18, 2004. I have not yet received this order. First I was told the furniture was made in China, now they say it is made in Brazil and there is a strike on the docks. I was upset to find this made in a foreign country.
I am very upset with Vaughan Bassett Furniture company. I would like this furniture delivered asap. I have been told that it is made overseas. Yet John Bassett III is upset with our government for letting imports from China into the country and wants to place tarriffs on them. I thought this furniture was made in America. I ordered this set, Emily's Cottage on March 3, 2004. Today is August 18, 2004. I need help to get this furniture.
