Beware! John Houston Floyd is a scam artist, he will take your money and run like he did to us and other people we have come in contact with. We hired him to do a roof, he cashed our check 5 minutes after leaving our house, and never returned. After 2 weeks of us getting upset , he sent someone to my home who worked for 15 minuntes, tore down our lower gutters and facia board , left and never returned. John Floyd is good for one thing, making excuses!
Anyone who uses craigslist or any other free classifieds to hire contractors needs to watch out for this guy, he drives a white GMC Denali, he operates under several different phone numbers and uses more than one number at a time, his newer craigslist ads he has omitted a company name. He is not a licensed contractor but will tell you that he is! He has been in prison and is currently on probation at Macomb County.

I just want to say that John Floyd from superior general contracting did an amazing job for us! We had a complete tear off new rood done, he was way cheaper than 4 other companies! I feel like we actually got a great deal and if it wasn't for him we would still have a bad roof! John did everything he said he was going to do! I just felt the need to stick up for him a bit!!

Work was to be completed. We pulled permit and ordered materials. Dumpster on site immediately. Couldnt come to an agreement and terms so both parties agred to void contract and resolved with full refund. all our contractors are licensed and insured. We came to job to replace gutters only to find rotten fascia board. So we had to get new fascia and adjust agreement but couldn't reach an agreement. So we voided contract and given complete refund.
Please NOTE NO FRAUD OR SCAM. CONTRACT DISAGREEMENT BUT HAS BEE RESOLVED

Everything has been amicably resolved, John Floyd gave us full refund of our deposit.
