Jonathan Taylor Hustled me into hiring him to install a new metal roof onto my house, knowing I needed one and knowing my son just received a settlement, since he is a local football coach in a small town and our kids are close.. He gave me a " smoking deal " because he supposedly already had half of the material and was going to install it himself with his oldest son Mason, they could supposedly get it done in a day and a half. After writing up a few estimates we reached an agreement. He then hustled me into getting him the cash asap so he could order the rest of the materials to be here in time for when his son arrived for his weeks stay. ( Mason had moved to NC ). Jon took my cash and left me with a chicken scratch of a receipt. The deal was $1,500 down, $1,000 before pick up of materials, and $500 apon completion. He received the 1,500 down cash  and 1,000 cash and a week later Mason arrived and came to my house to visit just about everyday with my sons and when asked about the roof he had absolutely no idea what was going on his dad hasnt told him anything. Jon and I texted and talked and I have every text message of all his excuses, which turned out to be complete lies. I then realized he had falsified the first receipt so it is actually dated a month later than actually received because it supercedes the second receipt to pick up the materials. More proof. One of his lies was the distributers ordered alluminum instead of steel with an extra 5,000 price tag, I later found out from the guy he orders metal from his words exactly " Jons just making up bs excuses" Jon actually called him minutes after I did, and was told I had called and Jon told him he was actually ordering my roof tomorrow. At that point Sept 10th aout 60 days later I realize I was ripped off and asked Jon for my mony back. Tilton PD gave him over a month of him lying and saying he'll have my money in a week, in two weeks etc...just to no show. He has not made a single attempt to do my roof or repay me. He has never brought a single piece of material to my house in fact he used my tape measure to measure it and borrowed my neighbors ladder. Being a volunteer local HS football coach, a hired football coach at the prestegious Tilton Prep school, kinda prominent in the community, I never thought to research his credability. Also should note several Tilton PD officers are HS football coaches as well/friends and text buddys to Jon. Jon has told me they text him and warn him when things are going to happen to him IE: legal issues with Jons ex wife Sadie Taylor. So its now 2/18/2015 And apparently Tilton pd did not give the county atty much evidence because the County Atty does not believe there is enough evidence to prove its criminal and they are now going to tell me its civil. Tilton PD asked me for a report, and copies of our agreement and they got it. I have much more evidence this is turning into a nightmare. He had no intentions on doing my roof. And I was supposed to be a friend! Our kids are best friends. Mason had nothing to do with this. I have since found out he is writing bad checks to multiple local people, never paid rent in his house had to be evicted via court order destroyed the place( owner out well over $5,000. He is a real POS who is wanted in many other states and is now home to s*** in his own back yard. He thinks he is clever, he thinks he knows his way around the law ripping off good people and not coming through on his agreements. And the local cops are his friends. Wicked Pissa.
