I have seven different student loans from IADT- Tampa. I haven't been able to afford to pay my loans in years because some are Federal and some are Private. I was never explained anything with the loans and was just told to sign the paper. There was no education on the financial aid's side in assistance to making sure we understood what we were signing.

Since I have some Federal and some Private loans I am unable to consolidate the loans for one easy payment. Since I have no been able to afford to pay my SEVEN different loans through them, my credit has taken a huge dive.

I've been denied jobs because of my credit as well. Jobs that I was told I was perfect for the position, told I could choose from any position available in my field in the country because I was exactly what they were looking for. Once they did a credit check, I was told they couldn't hire me. These stupid loans have ruined my life and I don't even know where to begin to get things back in order.

HELP!

We are trying to get Morgan & Morgan to pick up the IADT case and they said they will probably do it if they get enough enquiries. We currently have over 100 people. Go to http://www.forthepeople.com/ and fill out information under contact to join. Tell every former students you know. :)

You read my mind

I attended this "school" in 2005-2008 and you took the words right out of my mouth. You assume at 18years old, when a financial advisory tells you about the loans they are offering, they are telling the truth. The loans they signed me up for were from multiple places. Some are federal and some are private, so there is no consolidating for me. Because of the ridiculously high monthly payments on the student loans, I had to join the military in order to put some of them in forbearance so I wouldnt totally ruin my credit. I am 25 and still owe this stupid school $64,000 dollars and I have been paying about 400 dollars a month on them for a while now. The debt never seems to decrease. This school is a scam and this is only one of the many, many complaints I have. The representative that I talked to said my credits would transfer anywhere easily, so why will the Community College of the Air Force not take any of these credits? They said this school seemed too sketchy! WHAT! So out of the many many classes I took only a couple actually transferred and I was forced to start from scratch. I would advise anyone who is thinking about wasting your money on this school to buy a ticket to Vegas and stick the money in a slot machine because you will have a better chance of having a brighter future doing this than attending this so called school!

My advice to those of you who already have student loans and dont want your credit ruined. Join the military, get a free degree with them and hope to be able to pay off the student loans by the age of 95. Good luck

What is stupid about the loans other than you took out so many, didn't learn anything and signed without reading.  You are WAY beyond help.
