I purchased a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo on feb. 19th 2005 my first payment of $110 was due on March 19th 2005 i made this payment on the 18th instead, now the normal payments were $220 but they wrote on my papers that the first payment is only half of the normal payment due to haveing to come up with down payment which was $1,000 and then haveing to pay the tax title and license fees 14 days later those fees were $521.43

everything on my part way being paid, my husband wakes up friday april 1st and the jeep was gone, i called the police and wanted to make a stolen car report they then informed me that kankakee auto mart had reported to them that they had repossed the jeep i couldn't figure out how could they do that everything was paid for when it was suppose to be paid for, when kankakee auto mart opened i went there they wouldn't let me have the jeep or my personal belongings, as of april 15th they still refuse to give my person belongings, they say since my cd player is know in the dash that it has become part of the vehicle no that's is mine!!,

They always give a run around i had kankakee police investigate but it turned out that i had to file a civil suit which i have done we go to our first court appearence april 21st 2005, I feel that this was an easy way for them to gain quick cash but that cash was for my family my children and i thought that i was getting a good vehicle to transport my family my children but i got the shaft, now i'm glad that summer is here i can walk with my children my husband uses the only car we have to go to work mind you also i lost my job because i had no transportation, but i will get this matter solved and aslo i just want for everyone else to know about this place we have friends that told us kankakee automart was no good but of course that was after all this, now days you have to ask around or call the police dept. just to check out a place before you buy something, there are all kinds of people that work hard to get where they are today and it's people like Kankakee automart that make easy money by ripping us hard working people off, everyone beware of this car dealership

I want Amanda Watseka to contact me on 347-898-1377. I went through similar unfair treatment by Robert Scroggins at Kankakee Auto Mart.
I took him to court and i want every other person that have went through Robbert Scroggins Horror to help in testifying in court on how he treats and ripoff his customers of their hard earn money and properties so that we can all put a stop to Robert Scroggins unlawful act and ripoff.

1993 jeep

Regarding a 1993 jeep cherokee purchased on feb. 19th 2005, this report is totally untrue and this customer is dishonest,  if this customer had made their payments and lived up to the signed contract, this vehicle would not have been repossed and they would still have the vehicle. 

 

We sell high quality, low cost vehicles on a buy/here-pay/here basis, but there are the dishonest that think everything should be handed to them and they do not have to live up to their responsibilitys in life to earn and pay for what they want.


There are all kinds of people that work hard to get where they are today, and it's dishonest customers like this that make it hard for the honest to do so.
