I would be curious to know what your age is. I suspect you are a very young naive young man. If you ever become a lawyer and practice before certain judges you will understand the message in Neela's comment. Judges, unfortunately are elected by people who have no idea what their intelligence or their emotional quotient is. I suspect that many of the judges, given the MMPI II test, would show serious pathologies. These are the people who are making decisions affecting our families. At least in civil court there is a jury of your peers. In family court the judge alone makes a decision that is clearly based upon the personal views and beliefs of the judge. Good luck in the future. Love to hear your opinion in 15 years.

Just by studying law, Judge doesnt become above law. You should probably also looking at some background of where she is coming from.

She is the kindof lady who lacks total compassion or common sense while she makes decisions - from my expreince with numerous hearings, I infer this. Further, I feel
Her social service background had made her attached to feelings and she rarely makes decisions with mind ruling her heart. Sorry to say, she seem to be lacking the IQ + EQ required to make some good logical conclusions in complex cases.

She refuses to apply common sense and her perspectives of good and bad are coming from her own lawbook not from court defined laws.

I agree with the original comment. She treats courtroom like her home. She bends rules at her wish. We are not her kids to control the way she wants. I wouldnt even give her a second look, if she was my neighbour. If not for POWER, I wonder what else she has got to bring on the table.??
