Katy Moving Stars Inc. (Jess Gorman), provided me with a moving service on May 2014. 

The two men crew arrived at my premises at approximately 9:00am. 

After loading up their truck with my items, they proceeded to ask me if they both could stop for some lunch and to buy drinks, but rest assure that I would NOT be charged for their time spent during their lunch break. I agreed! 

I arrived at the new premises in less than 12/15 minutes car drive from the originating address and waited for the movers to follow soon after. Approximately hour passed and NO sign of the two guys! I kept calling their cellular phones, (and even the Katy office) only to be told that they were given the wrong address and got lost! 

At the end of the day and after unloading the last item at approx. 4:50pm, I was charged for 8 SOLID hours of labor! The guys went missing for an hour in between, so I should have only paid for 7 hour labor, and not 8! On top they charge an initial $75 fee over and above all other charges!! 

I was also charged $100 fuel charge - calculated at 15% over the 8 hour at $75 per hour charge of $600? If that's the case, the fuel charge should have been $90, and not $100! 

Moreover, most of my furniture was damaged or/and scratched. The 2 crew guys held my couch pillows under their sweaty armpits and drenched them in sweat and body odor! My son bed was not screwed back together (they told me that they lost the screws!) and collapsed with my child on it! 

BUT, despite calling their office SEVERAL times and emailing, I have had NO response to date! Very disappointing service and overcharged for service NOT provided! Would NOT recommend! Be aware that if anything happens to your furniture or anything else during this moving service, you WILL be ignored by the company owner and managers!

This complaint was a huge misunderstanding. All of the problems have been resolved and Ms. Luciana received her refund for the inconvenience. Not all moves can go perfect but we will do the right thing by our customers.

The issue with this company was resolved by the owner Mr. Jess Gorman and my money refunded. I have no futher grudge with this company and Mr. Gorman was very understanding and apologetic. I would recommend this company.

Mr. Gorman apologised for not getting in touch with me sooner and promply refunded me the money for the overcharge. The issue was resolved, and I am happy with the results.
