Kevin Austin Construction & Remodeling Austin Construction Stoled my 1100$ deposit and vanished, Dodged phone calls and never called me back Denver, Colorado

On June 10th, Kevin Austin of Austin Construction and Remodeling arrived at my house to give me a quote on new window replacement.   We agreed on a total price of 2200$ and signed a contract. I gave him a check for half (1100$) as a deposit for ordering the windows.  He was to replace them in two weeks.  He never sent me the confirmation of ordering the windows as promised and he vanished.  His cell phone always goes to voice mail.  He ran another ad on Craigslist.com for window replacement and I called it from a different number.  When I confronted him about it, he said "I'll call you back, I have a bad reception" and hung up.  He never called back and any attempts to call him went directly to voice mail.  Kevin Austin is a rip off artist.  Do not use this contractor unless you want to loss your hard earned money.
