I'm glad that there are some people who are benefitting other than Alex...

AUTHOR: Gayletara - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, April 02, 2009

Although I know it isn't my son! I'm glad that there are kids out there that are getting work through KTN, I really am. My son has been a member of KTN for over a year, almost a year and a half, and we have not received one e-mail or phone call from them whatsoever. I'll send new pics, I get an e-mail back that will say "Thanks, looks great, etc." I see so many people who have been ripped off, I'm sure they do some actual work, but you just CANNOT ignore the majority of people who have been taken advantage of. My response to the bazillions of excuses they have when your child isn't getting work- and this will amaze you, Mr Simon- STOP ACCEPTING EVERY TOM, d**k , AND HARRY WHO TURNS IN A HEADSHOT! You just can't refuse that $500, though, can you? If you don't think you can get work for a child, don't accept them. Simple. Its just like in the cartoons....he sees the little children and he just gets dollar signs in his eyes...

Speculations

AUTHOR: Brztt - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, August 10, 2007

my child is a member of KTN and I have written many of those positive things on Yahoo Answers, as well as submitted a testimonial for their website. There are speculations that these were created by their own company. There are no facts in this complaint. What exactly is the complaint about? Alex has no connections with agencies? I have met more than a few of those on news section of the website who are with agencies.

We have recently moved to Las Vegas from Hawaii, where my son who is 5, has been asking to do some modeling and now acting. KTN has referred us to agencies for work in LA, provided us with major television exposure A&E, & sent us to an audition for a commercial (which we got). Through the agency referral, it led to being part of a movie, a 48-hour project.

I have met other parents who have had the same experiences as I did and we are all extremely happy with KTN and respect Alex Simon for his assistance and support for our children. He is always there when we have questions. ALWAYS.

There will be some children who will get turned down by agencies, who will not get the part, or who aren't meant for this business in one way or another. If you were with KTN for a short period of time and were so quickly unsatisfied, how will you and your child deal with the business in general? There will be many times when you go to auditions and will not get the part. Who is to blame then?

As for my child, who is very shy, Christine & Alex believed that he could be an actor when I didn't. I am so grateful for that as through the process, my child has grown emotionally and developmentally. He is doing better in school and teachers have noticed a difference.

KTN does what they say that they are going to do, market your child to agencies, and along the way may be able to send you to some auditions and get you some work. They are mainly trying to get you with an agency through their connections. But, hey, if the agency says no, they say no. There are no guarantees.

RESPONSE FROM KTN OWNER

AUTHOR: Alex - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, August 02, 2007

After having been in business for over two years WITHOUT A SINGLE COMPLAINT, I am shocked at the recent amount of criticism found about myself and my company, Kids Talent Network, LLC on the internet.

After much research, WE DISCOVERED THAT THESE ABSURD AND FALSE CLAIMS WE and continue to be POSTED BY A COMPETITOR TRYING TO DISCREDIT US.

The people writing these reports are ACTUALLY ALL THE SAME PERSON, AND THEY ARE NO CLIENT OF OURS. We were able to contact some of these "clients" via email to discuss a refund, but they all refused to reveal their real identity and declined a refund. This, and other evidence, brought us to the conclusion that ALL POSTINGS ON HERE ARE FROM THIS PERSON (UNDER DIFFERENT ALIASES), and that this person is working on behalf of one of our competitors.

We have maintained a perfect record with the Better Business Bureau, not only as members, but also being part of the BBB's HONOR ROLL for every one of our years as members. Our Better Business Bureau Report can be seen here: http://www.vegasbbb.org/rptrel.asp?bbbid=69285

I PERSONALLY INVITE ANY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS TO CONTACT ME DIRECTLY TO DISCUSS A REFUND of any fees paid to my company. We have fully refunded customers who, for whatever reason, believed were not given what was promised to them.

Meanwhile, we will continue to provide our outstanding service of facilitating the road to success to aspiring young models and actors across the United States.

Sincerely,

Alex Simon
Founder
Kids Talent Network, LLC

#5 Consumer Suggestion

Kids Talent Network, Alex and Christine ARE SCAMMERS!!! DON'T SIGN UP YOUR KID WITH THEM!!!! DON'T BOTHER EMAILING THEM!!!!

AUTHOR: Linda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, August 02, 2007

I would defintely agree. run the other way! These Simon's are scammers from what we hear, I've been in contact via email with some of there disgruntled clients who want them shut down.

I also hear a news story is in the works in Vegas...yippee!

I have found that most of the few jobs their clients have gotten were very low or or no pay at all. As far as agents go, I would like to know which agents they work with. I see that someone else has already asked them to please post it. They claim they place children with agencies nationwide. where's the list. All Alex can do is go on line ranting and raving that competitors are bashing them like John Casablancas and Kim Flowers of JRP.

Please Alex. your no competition to these companies. Do you think they care about your little scam?

Kids Talent Network is simply trying to do what the other big guys are doing and they can't.

IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY BACK FROM KIDS TALENT NETWORK GO STRAIGHT TO THE DA IN LAS VEGAS. OTHERS HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED THEM.

IF YOU PAID BY CREDIT CARD, FILE A CLAIM WITH YOUR BANK, AND REVERSE THE CHARGES. PLEASE INCLUDE COPIES OF ALL REPORTS FILED ON THIS GREAT SITE WITH YOUR CLAIM.

Good luck everyone.

I have read some inaccurate information on these complaints - KTN member

AUTHOR: Brztt - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 31, 2007

My child has been a member of Kids Talent Network since February 2007. I have read in complaints that the testimonials are bogus, but I am one of those people who have written one of them (see KTN #360). Since February 2007, we have had lots of experiences provided by KTN (e.g. A&E show Mindfreak, Mountain's Edge Commercial, LA agency representation referral).

There is also a testimonial from "Stella Productions" on the main page. My child has worked with them through KTN and we were just recently called for a 2nd opportunity with them just this week.

And as for my personal opinion - In this world, its very hard to please EVERYONE. Christine & Alex are the type of people that would have no problem with resolution, but in the business world, there has to be somewhere to draw the line.

Those with sign up with KTN should be aware, as I was, what they are providing and what to expect, as they do what they say they are going to do. In this business, there are no guarantees. One who signs up should not expect things to happen in days, or even weeks. It all happens when the opportunity arises.

The reason why I chose a company like KTN is because I am a very shy person (with medical disabilities) and I would have a difficult time trying to market my son by myself. My son has been begging me to do something like this for a long, long time. We also had just moved to Las Vegas and had no experience whatsoever.

As someone who has experienced recent interviews with agencies with my son, they are not interested in those who do not have experience and/or has a positive connection.

KTN promotes your child, which is what they promise to do for you, and they do. The rest is up to luck.
