Kids.Com Took our money and a year later, they are not even in business! Cherry Hill New Jersey

Approx. a year ago, I recieved a notice in the mail about the birth of my now 16 month old daughter.Needless to say, I was excited and very niave. I waited several months before contacting kids.com but eventually, I came to the conclusion that it would be too hard for me to get my daughter into modeling with out help. At the time there was only ONE report to the bbb so I thought that it would be okay, maybe just disgruntled person.

However, after I paid $595 for 5 years, I no longer heard from the company. I made a few calls to check on my daughters progress. After being told that she hadn't even been viewed, I told Kids.com that I wanted to get my money back but I would wait a few more months because I felt that I was being hasty. My daughter had only been with Kids. Com for 6 months.

I then called and told them that I started seeing several bbb complaints and I was going to sue if I didn't get my money back. I filled out a bbb report myself when I called the photographer (an hour away from our residence) and they told me that they were going out of business. The bbb sent out a notice to kids.com in cherry hill but it came back as an insufficient address. So now we lost almost $600 and there is no one to sue or get the money back from.

They have been scamming for years with out people picking it up, because my son is now 5 and I remember them trying to get me to bring him in for an interview. At that time, we couldn't afford to put him in. We thought we would do it with our last child and now we have nothing to show for it. That really is terrible for people to go through. I wish I would have waited a little bit longer before giving up that kind of money.
