K&K Oil Company Text me about a car and sent a check made a call company doesn't have a working number and one the envelope it was a different name ....didn't cash the check but the person has sent text saying that there will be a attorney involved ..Weatherly Pennsylvania

then i called both number and no answer....the priority mail envolpe say a different name and I did call them and they don't buy cars...so they are using 2 different names which makes it very much a scam... 

I'm selling a vehicle for my boyfriend online using Carglist and I did get a text from a person saying that they while buy the vehicle and never told me who they where or company .....so my boyfriend gets a check for $3,685.00 dollars and that would cover the cost to buy the vehicle and shipping...so I made a few phone calls to the the company on the check which is K&K Oil Company looked it up with the address and not a working number...then I called the Bert Williams Sons that was the address on the envelope and they don't buy cars online...so I told him to be carful someone was using there name...they I get a text by the person asking if I cash the check and I told him it would take 10 days he says that the check is good and would talk to accounting to get the check cleared faster....( I didn't cash the check) so then I get a text saying if I don't hear from you I will get attorney involved ....I just asked him how they where going to get the vehicle ..im going with gut feeling this is a scam....called both numbers that the person text by and no answer ....please help if you can before someone get a check and cash it and they have to pay back all there hard earned money and has no vehicle....
