I had a Koi pond in my backyard. I had decided to fill it in because it was getting to difficult for me to keep it going, so I wanted to find someone who dealt in Koi to come over and find homes for my high priced koi. I had contacted Richard Nieto, owner of KOI R Us, and he agreed to come over to talk about a deal. When he arrived at my house, he agreed to take my Koi, sell them to his clients, and send me a check once he received payment for them.I agreed. He was scheduled to return to my house a week later. I did not want to be there because of my attachment to my Koi. My husband meet Richard, his father Alberto and his mother at my house and they took the Koi.It has been two years and I have not recieved any money. I have called him and left numerous messages and he has not returned any of my calls. He took 23 fish. They ranged from 12 inches to 45 inches in length. Unfortuanly, I beleived him because he claimed to be a Christian and wore a cross around his neck so a hand shake deal was made. Could anyone help me?

Thank you for the information on the garden shows. Unfortunately I was on vacation when the garden show was here in Fresno. I will catch up with Richard one of these days. I would really like to see him and talk to him. I am still calling him at least once a week. I try calling and leaving messages daily but at times it doesn't work out. Did you get refunded? Or are you still waiting on the judement? I hope you get everything you asked for and more. I wish the courts would put him out of business!! I can't tell you the money he gained from my Koi. I know one of the koi was worth at least $2000. I know, pretty stupid of me to do a deal on a hand shake. I have learned a hard lesson.

I would like to hear from other's who have been ripped off by Richard who is the owner of Koi R Us. I would like to stop him from stealing and cheating others like he did me and Thinh. I continue to call and leave him messages to contact me and settle this as adults but still no luck. If anyone has information where the next Koi shows are, please let me know. I would like to see him face to face.
