Lands Towing Com Stay clear of Lands Towing of Marlborough Massachusetts

One of our drivers was pulled over then arrested for an outstanding warrant (failing to appear for Jury duty 3 years ago). The Trooper called for a tow truck. The vehicle is a tractor trailer loaded with gravel weighing 103,000lbs.We were notified of the incident and were at the towing company within 45 minutes. The company is located on an extremely small lot in a location not accessible to a tractor trailer. When asked where our truck was the rude employee said "You give me $375.00 I will tell you where the truck is". We paid the individual then he said we would have to follow him to the storage area (about a 5 min drive).

On arrival it was obvious the truck was driven to the destination not towed. Upon leaving the storage area the driver informed me that the transmission is now knocking and slipping out of gear. Not only were these people sleazy and dishonest they have caused damage to our vehicle I am sure will run into several thousand dollars to repair. I am sure we will have our attorney pursue the matter but more importantly we want to warn other hardworking companies and individuals traveling in the Central Mass area.
