Laura Gorman Photography Don't trust this little girl! She's about as professional as a 4 year old with a play camera. Orlando Florida

My wife is a professional photographer, so one of the hardest roles to fill for our wedding was that of the event photographer. My wife spent months researching local photographers to find a style she liked. Well after several correspondences with Laura Gorman, my lovely wife thought she had found the perfect blend of traditional and artistic photography thru Ms. Gorman. BOY WAS SHE WRONG!

My wife and I went to meet the potential candidate in a coffee shop outside her apt complex. The first impression I got of Ms. Gorman was a young artist trying to work her talents in a very unpredictable career field. I just didn't know her talents were FRAUD! She and my wife discussed all the details. My wife is extremely through she covered everything from time, location, ideas for the shoot, the types of equipment Laura would be using, I mean EVRYTHING was covered in that meeting. Ms. Gorman accepted, and asked us for the deposit and to fill out her contract. We did.

On the day of our wedding my wife received a phone call from Laura Gorman telling her she wouldn't be able to make it to shoot the wedding, and that she was sending someone very close to her to fill in. (Strike 1)

Just before the ceremony I get a message from one of my users telling the photographer was here. I was then introduced to a friendly gentleman, which was a shock to me, as I was still expecting Laura. But in lu of everything else that was happening, I wasn't that worried about it.

The man took the photos, and at the end of the night he asked what the situation for payment was! I asked if he hadn't arranged that with Laura before coming to the event. He said he had just met Laura at a trade show, and she called him out of the blue to fill in. Well seeing as Laura had the deposit I referred the man back to Ms. Gorman for the payment arrangement. But I did give him our phone numbers in case there were to be anymore miscommunications. So basically she called anyone she could find to take her place, which contradicts what she told my wife about the man (strike 2).

So my wife and I went on our honeymoon. About 4 days into our travels my wife gets a phone call from the man that shot our wedding, telling her that the pictures are ready for us to pick them up. Unfortunately we were in the mountains of eastern PA and our phones didn't work the best up there. His phone number didn't come up on her phone. But we figured we'd just get a hold of Laura when we got back to Orlando to get his phone number.

We get back to Orlando and my wife tries to contact Ms. Gorman by phone, email, and even by her "My Space" page. Laura Gorman has not responded to any of our phone calls, emails, or web postings (strike 3). She's in breech of her own contract that she was sooo adamant about having us sign. I have done everything (aside from going to her front door) to try and get the name and phone number of the REAL PHOTOGRAPHER that shot our wedding.

LAURA GORMAN IS A RIP OFF ARTIST! She took our money and our wedding photo's which included photos of my wife's Grandfather who shortly after our wedding passed away! LAURA GORMAN IS AN UNPROFFESIONAL, IMMATURE, LITTLE CHILD WHO THINKS TAKING PICTURES IS JUST FOR FUN WHEN SHE FEELS LIKE IT. She's lied, cheated, and stolen form us. I just hope it doesn't happen to you.
