June 25, 2008, Another "law office" call, they claimed I owed money on two bank cards, which I never had. Then after speaking to this "legal assistant" she could not identify where these "accounts" originated from. As I was on hold, a man, who did not identify himself, very rudely said I owe these amounts then proceeded to hang up. I remembered a man named "Mr. Steele" from that office phoned me once before and threatened taking legal action against me and will take property from me. After some quick research, found this website and called that "Legal assistant" back, still to no avail. Seems like the legal assistant didn't have any research capability.

She told me this account was from 1997. The phone number I called back was 1-(215)-642-3400. The caller ID phone number showed up as 1-(215)-642-3395. Surprisingly enough, it was the SAME COMPANY. I have worked in debt collection, there are guidelines to follow. I never have seen this level of unprofessionalism. What a scam. Bottom feeders. Be Aware - Do not give out personal info. Here's more background info., I am originally from New Jersey, and I am quite familiar with Pennsylvania, so I looked up this address it is a very sleazy part of town located near Temple University. Those "legal assistants" are probably just college students. On Landis' website it actually offers legal costs for his services and if you look at the list of services he offers, there is not one area of law he doesn't practice. Landis and/or Attorney Donald Burak work together.
