The nature of my complaint is simple. I changed credit card processing companies because I felt I was being change a lot of fee monthly $9.95 annual
Renewal $60.00 etc. So I switched to Wachovia.
Then I found Leeders unwilling to cancel account.
1. Mistake one - Feb. I called to verbally cancel account.
2. I'm a slow learner - Mar. called again to cancel account.
3. Light bulb when off April I sent letter canceling my account.
4. Persistent - I sent fax in May. I also went to my bank to protest service charge,
Marc advised me to change account. Being Nave I didn't listen to his wise words.
5. Threatening - I sent second letter in June. Surely the treat of Law suite would get Leeders to close my account. WRONG again. I also called again in June and was assured my account would be closed.
6. Surprised in July My Account was charged an again. On July 16th Linda talked to Jennifer and then to Daniel Who promised to walk cancellation dept. Linda was confident the female approach had worked.
7. Confidence destroyed! Account fee charged again! I called and talked Amine who told me the account was closed, and she'd credit account. I insisted on taking to supervisor and had the displeasure of encountering Stephanie. When I asked why they hadn't complied with my written requests to cancel my account. She responded, Check with your locate post office. She also said she'd fax me a copy of the paper work processing the cancellation of my account.
8. You guest it, I never got fax.
9. Add Insult injury - On Aug 19 my cancelled account was charged a $7.50 in activity fee. Call and got Amine again who said she could cancel fee,
10. Another you guessed it - No Credit.
11. Success At Last! Sept.16, 2008 A $70.00 cancellation fee appears on my account. I thought painful but at last we have closure
12. WRONG AGAIN SEPT 22 2008 another AUTOMATED DEBIT LEEDERS ONLINE FEE -$ 9.95
13. Remember slow learner line. I went to bank to protest lasts charge. Maria the bank manager said I'll do it but I won't stop them. The only way to stop this is to change your account.
14. Moral Listen to your banker. If you decide to change your credit card processor change your account. According to Maria, my story is not an isolated incident, it happens all the time.
15. Hopefully someone will red this and avoid the time, money and aggravation I had.

Leaders Merchant Services would like to apologize to this merchant for the experience he had while trying to close his account. We would like to assure this merchant his account is now closed and we have issued a refund in the amount of $14.60 as of 9/19/08. LEADERS would like to wish this merchant good luck with his business and his future endeavors.
