We contacted Legal Help Group Nov. 2012 and they advised us that they can get us a loan modification from our current mortgage company HSBC since they were not willing to work with us since my husband was laid off as a government contractor in June 2012. We paid them well over $3,000 and for a few months they kept on top of all the paperwork and keeping us informed of what was going on and what to expect. They it got harder and harder to reach them. We were scammed and still havent gotten our loan modification. Anyone looking for mortgage help, I dont know what the answer is but this company isnt it.
