Contacted LeasureTime.com by phone 10:00 p.m. on 10-10-04. I booked a trip to Cancun for $310 for 2. They talked to us for about 1/2 hr and booked our flight as a courtesy at the cost of $974.76 They knew that we were not married and that was alright. I talked to Eleina then her superviser Mike Butler.

This morning about 10:00 a.m.we reviewed the terms and conditions (10-11-04), and my travel companion told me to contact them and let them know that her Burma visa was expired. I contacted them and told them at about noon today(10-11-02)I also told them she has a green card until 2011 and a Calif.licence. LeasureTime contacted Americawest air lines.We were told by LeasureTime that America West air lines refused any refund.

I tried to work with both companies, I called america west in San Francisco and I was told your flight was booked by Leasure time-sorry no refund. I tried Leasure time again and told them I wanted a refund and they told me Amereican West won't refund them. I had no Idea that we needed a visa or birth certificate until I asked questions today (12 hrs from booking flight)I have never been out of the united states before and This was a special vacation where we would have to attend a time share presentation to get 6 days in Cancun for $310. I was booking a vacation for a birthday 10-15-04 to 10-21-04. Well what a birthday present-consumer fraud !!!

I told the air line that I was cancelling the flight with my bank. They told me to late. The bank confirmed that they were right, the only thing my bank can do is file a credit card dispute after its paid. They have not submitted it yet but there is nothing I can do. I am very upset because I work in a customer service field-Real Estate. Isnt't there a 72 hr right to resind a contract, Especially when my companion can't travel do to restrictions unknown at the time.

As a an employee of Leisuretime, I feel it is my duty to respond to this accusation. Leisuretime.com is at no fault here. If one of our guest needs airfare, we will provide them with options on flights from their departing cities. In this case, the customer needed to get a refund on his/her airfare. As another courtesy, we contacted America West to try and help this customer. As most travelers know, to get a refund on airfare, you have to buy a special ticket that has the option to refund.
This was not the case with this particular guest. As a company, we have taken steps to protect ourselves and also protect the customer.
When a reservation is made with our company, we disclose all of the neccesary information. We do this so we can avoid customer service issues like this. This guest was informed at time of booking that this was a non-refundable ticket. Customer agreed with these terms and conditions. We also informed the guest that the reservation was made through America West Airlines. If any changes needed to be made, he would need to contact America West Airlines. The guest had a full understanding of the terms and conditions. At Leisuretime, we have very high standards. We feel it is our duty to provide proffesionalism and honesty. Anything else is unacceptable.
