On April 5, 2013 I purchased a pre-order hardware unit from a seller on eBay named "instaboost". I was bidding on his spot in line for a pre-order unit that was at the time not shipped to customers yet. I won the auction and quickly payed the $5,750. Knowing that I was going to be waiting on this item, I made it clear to the seller that I will be contacting him occasionally to see if the item has been shipped. About 5 months go by and still no item. At that time we are still in contact and he is telling me that the item will arrive in October. So after hearing that, I get suspicious and file a claim with PayPal, eBay and my bank. Sadly, I was unable to file a claim because the time period of 45 days has pasted with PayPal, 30 days with eBay and 60 days with my bank. From then I begin to contact the seller every other day and demand either my item or my money back. Since I followed the company that has the item I was waiting for, I knew for a fact that customers were getting their pre-ordered units in and have been for a while. So, I emailed the seller again a few months ago and I got an email failure notice back saying that the email no longer exists. The sellers eBay account is no long registered and his PayPal account has been deleted. As of now I can not contact the seller, file a dispute in PayPal or eBay, and my bank can not help me out because it is past their 60 day period. I have all the emails saved for my own records and PayPal has notes from the times I called to dispute my claim. So all in all, I did not received the item I paid $5,750 and have lost contact with the seller.
