Levington Lending Group Almost scammed for a personal loan by this company Chicago, Illinois

I applied online for a personal loan.  Several days later, I was contacted by Jeff Collins from Levington Lending Group.  He said they found a private lender who would lend me 6,000.00 but I would have to give 1 of 3 types of collateral to secure the loan. The first option is a home that is paid off and in my name. The second option is a new car that is paid off. The third option is a prepayment of 8 months of the loan that totals 795.52. Obviously I do not have the first 2 so I opted for option 3. He faxed me over the contract which looked legit to me and told me I have to sign it and fax it back along with a copy of my drivers license, which I did. He told me that I have to call him when I'm ready to wire the collateral payment and he would give me a name and where to wire it to.  I specifically told him I do not feel comfortable wiring money to somebody that I do not know. He tried to assure me that I would have a receipt and reference number that would serve as a receipt. I asked him the company of who I'm supposed to send this money to.  He would not tell me anything. All he said is to call him when I was ready to send the money. There was alot of red flags with this company. They have a nice website but when you click on contact us, there is no phone number or address, only a form for you to give them your info. When they call you it comes up an unknown number. When you call them you have to go through call intercept and say who is calling before you can be transferred to a department. When you google this company, there is absolutley no information about them. They have no recored with the BBB. I decided to go on this ripoff report website and saw exactly the same identical situations from others that lost their money. Beware of Levington Lending Group. Do not send them your money.
