BEWARE of LEXUS OF LOUISVILLE, over the past two years I have been dealing with the most disloyal, dishonest, and flat out rude company I have personaly ever seen. I purchased a brand new Lexus and have had nothing but problems. Over the course of the two years I have had the vehicle it has been in the shop more times than I can count and still all problems are not resolved.

And now to add to all the frustration the last straw occured several days ago that forces me to take LEGAL ACTION again LEXUS OF LOUISVILLE.

Once again in the shop for another problem, this time they had to replace my transmission. While my car was in their care my 2,600.00 stereo system was stolen. The dealership quickly stood by their policy of no responsibility for lost or stolen items.

In most cases I would not hold them liable for a break in to my vehicle if indeed it was "broken into". But it wasn't broken into, it wasn't "slim jim'ed" into, or any other way a theif would get into a car. Actually there was no forced entry at all. On top of that instead of having my car with thousands of dollars woth of stereo equipment installed inside a locked garage or bay protected they left it in an unlit gravel parking lot across the street from the dealership. The doors were (in my opinion) intinially left unlocked by an employee.

I base this on the fact that there is no sign of forced entry, the alarm did not go off, it was parked far away from sight and in the dark, and only the aftermarket stereo equipment was stolen. Almost two grand worth of camera equip. was left and the factory radio was not touched (if you work at Lexus dealership you know that the factory radio does not work if stolen from the car). Given all these facts it seems very obvious that even thought I cannot prove that it was employee theft that at the least they should be responsible for negligence.

They knew of the expensive audio equipment in my car car but still left it outdoors in a very dark parking lot across the street from the dealership! After they, on two seperate occassions, implied that I stole my own things they told my to take the loss and turn it into my insurance and thats that.
