Liveops is a big scam! They charge you $65.00 for a backgroung check, which is never performed, becuae if it was, I know two people that work from them, that would not be, had they actually did a background check on them,(one has been charged with armed robbery, and the other bank fraud/ theft by check).I wonder if their client know that....well on the other hand the clients would not care.. all they care about is getting the poor customer's credit card numbers on file o that they can charge them monthlty for services and products the customers never receive.. They are all in it together...
The thing I hate the most about liveops, is how they always charge the customer up, and their agents are warned: " never give the customer the total unless they ask....
I truly think that the FEDS should investigate liveops.
There is so much shady stuff going on with them....
Once you are invited in,they provide you with enough calls to get you through the certification process, but after that , you are on your own with 10, 500 plus individuals to share about 600 work blocka a day. You are not allowed to discuss the call volume, or the lack thereof the call volume. Though you are not an employee, you are under contract and they require that you keep a certain percetage on conversions, and when you are working dedicated lines such as the Nutribullet line, the majority of the calls are pissed off customers, that want to return the product. But Liveop expect for you to convert those calls into sales, and when you don't they hold it against you, your performance metrics decline, then they take lines away from you, and hope that you would just go away, so that they can continue on with their cycle of preying on and recruiting deperate unsuspecting individuals.
The facilitators are robotic, when you ask questions or have real issues that arise within their environment such as: Phone panel, Invoice, System errors, you can never get a straight answer, it is always textbook responses...
They do not take reponibility for nothing... Their phone panel iwue might cause you to miss commits, oh and when that happens, you can best believe thatr your performance metrics are going to be reduced because of it...
All they want is your $65.00, once they get it....they become your enemy... If you do figure out how to make it work for you, like I did: I spent 15 days straight pinned to my desk fighting for every call I could get, keeping the customers on the phone with rebuttals, doing whatever I could do to get my talk time, in the end I made my first $800 check, for two weeks... The following day I log in, and they come up with " your lines are being removed because your affinities are 9.7%, and they should be 10%....The crap is almost laughable...
I am going to end this with " Steer clear of these uneducated, greedy, robotic, good for nothing scammers...do not give them your $65, go to Arise, Next Rep or one of their othe competitors... but don't waste your time or money on Liveops...

I have worked at LiveOps for over 5 years. I agree that it is very competitive and you have to earn your position against hundreds of people.
The contract you sign BEFORE starting to provide services spells out what your responsibilities are. If you are not willing to provide the services outlined, you should NOT sign this contract and become an agent.
Affinities and upsells are part of the contractual obligations you sign up for. I have worked at becoming proficient at these sales and do very well with them. Each offer has complete disclosure that has to be read verbatim to make the sales agreement legally compliant.
Most customers do not seem to pay attention to the billing information provided and later get angry that they have to follow the instructions given in order to stop services or receive refunds. Blaming a company for not forcing people who call in to be paying attention and fully able to understand their personal actions is unfair to the company (LiveOps).
Making vague accusations and presuming to know whether background checks are performed is irresponsible. Perhaps your friends with police records committed fraud and used credentials that were not their own? No one and no company is without mistakes, but posting that a company is unethical due to an individual not being able to perform up to standards they contracted to perform is just whining.
