I needed a vehicle since I just recently had a new baby in January, which made four children for me. I was on the lookout for a couple of months, but mostly ran into minivans. I found a 2004 GMC Envoy on the lot at Lloyd's. We got all the other stuff out of the way, paid $3200 down, traded in my other vehicle and was off. There was some issues with the paperwork, so I had to come back in and sign. Upon my arrival, I notified Rick (the salesman) that the service engine soon light was on & that the air conditioner was making a really loud noise. He wrote down on a promise note (which I still have) they would fix the air conditioning. I took their word.

Mind you, I had a 30 day warranty. So, they waited until that 31st day to contact me and tell me that my regular tags were in to go pick up. Once I got there, I again asked Lloyd (owner with no customer service skills) about them fixing my issue. Now, it had gotten worse, I couldn't turn, it felt as if it was slipping (transmission) etc. He said, "I can't do anything for you today, come back Monday!" At that point, I drove to Advance Auto and had them run a diagnostic on my truck. The results? Cam shaft, gas cap improper causing pressure in gas tank, and the oil hadn't been changed in well over a year. They definitely hit the little reset button so it looked like they had.

On Monday, I dropped it off to them to fix and brought in the reports from Advance. I got a call around 11:30am stating it was done and all he did was change the oil, being a prude smart a*s the whole time. I got there to notice the service engine soon light was off, which 1 day later it was back, he just had someone reset it, he told me he was not fixing the air conditioning, that the loud noise was normal, please.. I am a woman, but far from stupid.

So, the issues still exist. I have filed a formal BBB complaint and waiting to hear back. Yes, they waited to push me off until after the 30 days. But, it is my life I will make sure that they never do something like this to anyone else.
