Local Splash Unbeliveble Scam Internet

Maybe they did give some lucky company a refund, but not that I can find searching the web diligantly. Probably at least 99% of the time they keep all the money from our first 2 months of payments. The jist of their "gurantee" is what they call a "performance promise" - it's really a "failed performance compensation promise" at best. Here's it is verbatim:

PERFORMANCE PROMISE - Local Splash promises that WE WILL APPLY A CREDIT FOR YOUR NEXT MONTH OF BASIC SERVICE if, AFTER YOUR SECOND PAYMENT, your business is not on the first page of a major search engine using any of your ten desired Search Phrases in your local area (e.g. Attorney in Santa Rosa, plus nine other search phrases relevant to your business).

If you only pay for their packaged services and they offer you their "october 2013" deal, it will be $299 the first month, $199 the second month - and if your not found with ONE of the TEN local search terms on the 1st page of a MAJOR SEARCH ENGINE (not specifically google...) then they will not charge you for the third month.

So if they don't deliver YOUR OUT $498 dollars - minimum, if you bought any extras thats gone too. And if they can't deliver in the third month, you start paying again, or they "cut you off" if your lucky.

Now here's the REAL BAD SCENARIO that I see happening a lot, THEY MAY RUIN YOUR RANKINGS, and mess you up so bad you have to start your whole internet campaign over again with a new compny name, etc. I believe they should GLADLY OFFER TO AT LEAST REFUND YOUR MONEY, if your SERP has fallen below 50% of what it was when you started with them (after 60 days), especially now that they had 60 days of almost full control of your site and reputation. Then if we want to try their third "Free/applied credit" month they should offer that too.

This is how many corps get rich, screw the customer - and if they try to get their money back, bury them in court.
