My son, Yan, needed to have some dental work done and he had gone to the Dental Studio located in Long Grove, IL. We had an ageement to pay $1,600 once the work would be done. In the office I had applied to a credit line in order perform the work. When I actually received the CareCredit card I called their customer service to verify the balance. I learned that I have a balance $2,467, I was overcharged!!
When I came to the office I asked the office manager Alex to check and correct the problem. I was waiting for almost an hour, then he told me that he can't discuss it with me. This account is under my name and only my name and any transactions should authorized by me, the account holder! Please investigate these activities!!

Long Grove Dental Studio has been under new ownership since April 15, 2011. The previous owner has moved and now practices in Florida.

Patient showed up in our with major problems and severely neglected mouth. We presented a treatment plan with detailed information on the work that needed to be done and the amount of money it would cost. The patient came in with his mother and we went over the treatment plan with the both of them. The mother asked and authorized over $4000.00 with of work to be done. They Both signed the treatment plan and knew what it would cost. The Son came in to our office and was worked on by the Doctor. After everything was completed she wanted to renegotiate all the work that was done do to the fact that she had no money to pay her credit card. We explained that we charged her according to the insurance plan that she gave us and because those fees were discounted by the insurance we can't provide any other discount. She had her husband call me and threaten me with all kinds bad things.
This report is falls and should have never gotten to this site. You should investigate things first before posting leis.
I have everything Documented and can provide you with signed treatment plans as well as all the work that was done. She called the credit company and filled a dispute saying that there was no work done at all. People like her should be arrested and prosecuted by the state.
Dr. Mikhalets has been in practice for more than 20 years and no one ever complained about anything, she is well known in the community and treats a lot of people with dental issues.
I challenge your company to get to the bottom of this.
