year 2008 when Loreta T. Paligutan appeared to our complex on the day of Thursday, with promising jobs and paper renewal. The job she offered is located in Pennsylvania while claiming that the last batch of renewal would be the next day (Friday) and the job will start on Monday. We are not prepared for the money but she said if we want to obtain the job and be included in the last batch of renewal she will come back at night to collect money. She collected the money that night and told us to be ready because we need to leave as soon as possible because the job is waiting for us in Pennsylvania and we have to start on Monday. We traveled to Pennsylvania in our expense, others leave on Saturday while others is on Sunday, but when we get there everything is opposite as she promised, instead she represent another name of the agency claiming that this agency will handle everything from papers to the job we needed. However, all her claims is opposite from what we've discussed when she collected our money that day. I called her right away (Monday) when I found out that everything is not going right to refund my money but she refused claiming that our papers is been processed already the day after she collect our money but she cannot provide a receipt when I ask her claiming its confidential matter. Furthermore, she didn't want us to go back to Florida, saying that she's doing something to correct everything. But after a few more days of giving her a chance to correct everything expecting that she can do something nothing come up right. When we decided that we're going back to Florida, she get mad and when i called her again soon as I came home for the refund, she threatened me instead until she never answer our calls again.

@ JUSTIFICATION - Its not about who is legal or not legal. It is about what the Loreta Paligutan is doing. Many people come here as tourist and would like to stay, just like in Europe, many Americans go there and prefer to live there instead of here. People like Loreta promised those people she can find a way for them to stay, take their cash, and run. It doesn't matter whether the person is legal or not, it is wrong to make empty promises and take anyone's money. If you think its ok, then I hope karma finds you...
@JSM - I am sorry about your experience but rest assured, Loreta T. Paligutan will pay her dues. She has two cases in Maryland right now, set for trial in January.

She has been able to avoid trials before so I can't promise you anything. But don't worry, karma has found her. She is homeless, lost her husband, and 3 kids. So as painful as that experience might have been, live with a good heart still because karma definitely sucks when it comes around.

yes i came here LEGALLY, complete with documents as needed. I worked and pay taxes rightfully unlike the other citizens of this country that are contented to just setting like a dock while waiting and abusing the opportunity and help this government can offer. I am bound by law to stay and renew my paper, furthermore i never break the law ever since. Unfortunately, there are some crock people like Loreta Paligutan putting others lives in danger. I came here legally and it is not my fault being victimized by this individual, however i never steal the rights or use the taxes of the citizens in this country for my own purpose instead i contribute rightfully with the best of my capability. I am also not the kind of person who set around whine and wait, I made action to justify that I am a victim and my legality to stay here.

Human trafficking?? Let me get this straight - you have "papers" to live and work here and now you do not? Are you here illegally and allow the TAXPAYERS to support you while you suck off the system that is meant for Citizens of this country??
