There is a porn site that occasionally shows up in my in-box (I keep trying to block it - unsuccessfully). The site promotes "amatuer sex by horny women at L.A. beach house." It goes on to say "the women don't pay rent...but they do have to f* - or something like that.

I'm think that you ladies may have encountered one of this website's "recruiting drives." I'm glad you were careful. Just moved to Minneapolis from Marina Del Rey, CA - and I know there are a lot of scummy people lurking in that area.

At the end of our second email(the one with the list of information from the roommate site) I asked, "BTW, are you a body builder?"

The following is a succession of emails between me and Steve: He is looking for a female roommate in the Venice/Santa Monica area:

NOTE: Mind you, I was polite to him and he reacted very hostile and irate toward me. I don't normally "report" people for anything, but this guy is particularly scary and should be avoided. And these emails are copied and pasted here exactly as they were written and received. Nothing has been in anyway altered, not even the cusswords. Though, the Rip Off Report will probably censor the cusswords.

I just can't help but wonder why such hostile responses?

I reported you BTW. Your name and pictures with a warning to anyone looking for a roommate in your area to stay away from you, because you are incredibly inappropriate and scary.

I can't understand how I, with what little communication we've had could provoke such strong anger out of you for you to be saying these things. I'm sorry you feel this way, Steve.

However, your assesment on my looks means very little to me. You really have no way of knowing if I'm lazy or if I'm looking to take advantage of anyone.

I, however am able to clearly see that you are very hostile and angry. I don't know why, and I don't claim to. I politely declined a telephone conversation with you and you called me a "c**t."

I hope you can care enough about yourself to work on your character. Everyone can stand to work on character, right? Like, I am right now as I respond to you. I could retaliate with a nasty word or make a comment on your looks, but I won't.

I have decided to warn others about you because I find you explosive and irate. That, to me spells danger. I hope you don't become so defensive that you can't possibly look at your behavior and consider that you might need to tone it down a bit and try to be a good person that you surely can be.

The reason it's important to share this is because he strikes me as a potentially dangerous person. He's looking for a female roommate, and that concerns me. If someone is unwilling to disclose information to you over email before you decide if you even WANT to talk with them over the phone, then thank them politely and walk away. There are ALL KINDS of people on the Internet as we all should know. Be careful!
