Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Repainting HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT TRUST THEM!! Anaheim, California

I wish I had read the rip-off report. I found this Maaco through the Yellow Pages. The initial customer service individual (Ed) was friendly and seemingly thorough. The problems began when trying to find out when I could pick up my car. I brought the car in on a Monday and was told the repairs would be complete Friday or Saturday. Thursday I called to make sure it would be finished and was told Saturday. Saturday I called to find out when I could pick it up and they said they forget to finish the moulding. The customer service personal was rude, rude, rude and hung up on me. His name is Ferdinand and he goes by Fred or Freddy. I do not exaggerate when I say that in my entire life I have never met an individual who was worse at customer service. I called back and he said the car would be finished by 11:00 a.m. on Monday. I asked him to call when it was finished. By 2:00 on Monday, I decided to call and he said it would be Tuesday. Lots of lies, rudeness, disrepect later, the phone call ended. Tuesday morning I called and went down with my husband to pick the car up. Absolutely unbelievable the way we were treated on that day: harrassed, lied to, threatened to call the cops, etc. etc. He did say he is quitting, which would be a blessing for the owner and the rest of the shop. To top it all off, the work on the car was not complete. And on the side of the car which was not damaged, there were scratches on the paint job which had to have occurred whilte at the shop. Unbelievable and disheartening. Maaco as a corporation is receiving a very, very bad name because of this one business. THIS ESTABLISHMENT WILL NEVER EVER RECEIVE ONE MORE SECOND OF BUSINESS FROM US! I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT THE OWNER WOULD ALLOW ANYONE WITH SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS TO SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS!
