On 09/13/09 I subscribed, utilizing PayPal, to MaddenVault.com for a fee of $29.99. This charge was for a 12 month subscription where as I was to receive access to their website for the "advertised" weekly posts regarding tips and techniques on improving game playing for the EA Sports Madden10 Football video game. MaddenVault.com is an affiliate of another website titled Madden-School.com.

When I first joined, created an acount, logged in, etc. the website had about 12 to 15 game plays accessible for viewing. Everything "appeared" to be as advertised since the EA Sports Madden10 game had been released the first week of August. As of today, 01/09/10, there have been absolutely no updates or new information since 10/23/09.

I have sent a total of 6 e-mails to their customer support e-mail address indicated on the website inquiring as to why there have been no updates as advertised. They have yet to respond to any of my inquiring e-mails.

I called the phone number posted for their Customer Support service and left 2 detailed messages with my name, contact phone number, and the reason for my call. I have yet to receive a return phone call.

I went to the affiliate website, Madden-School.com, to check the Forum page to see if anybody else was experiencing the same problem. I posted a message (01/08/10) on their "free" forum page under the "Announcements" section inquiring once again as to why the "advertised weekly updates" were not being posted when I read there were other subscribers inquiring to the same problem as well. The website moderator had posted a forum reply on 10/23/09 stating "the guys responsible for the posting "weekly updates" have really been busy." I have a problem understanding how the person or persons responsible for the updates can be "really busy" for two and a half months!

I went back to the Madden-School.com website a couple of hours later to see if maybe someone in their organization would give me and the other customers some type of explanation. Their "timely" response to my posting was to provide me a message stating that I had been "banned" from their website.

I contacted PayPal to see what, if any, recourse I had. PayPal's response was that since I had purchased a "service" there really wasn't anything they could do because they had no means of verifying one way or the other as to whether or not MaddenVault.com had met their advertised requirements.

I contacted Amex to see if a dispute could be filed through the credit card process. Since it had been more than 60 days they could not help me either.

I just wonder how many other people have paid their MaddenVault.com subscription fee and got scammed as well!
