I ordered a magnetic phone charging cable from an ad on Facebook that never arrived.

The company sent order confirmation on Jan 15th 2017 I received a shipping notifcation that the item was shipped shortly after stating the shipment was from FRANKFURT/M, DE and the package was currently in Canada. March and April go by and - no cable. I asked them for an update and they sent me a fake DSL tracking site and tracking number that doesn't work in the real DHL site. This time the update had different dates and sources and destinations.

I sent the company another email today and asked them where my package is and they sent me another link to a different shipping status with the very same tracking number.. now if I follow the original shipping status link it reports the the cable is still in transit.

This is a very carefully thought through deception, thankfully I am only out $15.00 but I have an open PayPal complaint. I might get it back.
