Maltese Direct Ray Smith Sold Sick puppy- Parvo Internet, Internet

This individual seems reputable. However, two days after purchasing my prescious puppy he started vomiting I rushed him to the vet. They diagnosed him with Parvo and indicated he had to have contracted the virus in the breeders care since it takes at least 4 days to show any kind of symptoms. Luckily I caught it early to even attempt treatment. I am currently in the second week of treatment and the vet bill is up to $5,000.00. When communicating with the individual I purchased him from regarding vet bills etc, his response was his policy is the option to return or trade. Yet when the Vet was on the phone telling him that he should have his other puppies checked he told me to do what I thought was right. I just do not see how anyone can "trade" a sick puppy that you have already fallin in love with and hope that he does the right thing by them, which with his response I am almost sure nothing good. Also, trade a puppy that contracted Parvo in his care, do you realize how contagious Parvo is, there is no guarantee the "new" puppy did not have it as well. The "guarantee" I signed said you have 3 working days to take the puppy to a vet to be checked over but does not state if the puppy is infected you so called trade or return policy. it also stated he would give me proof of vaccinations yet no proof of those either.

Interesting how all that comes after my poor little guy has indured two weeks of misery and about to indure 2 or more weeks of awful recovery. The sellers shady way of business and how he handled this is not something I want anyone to have to go through with a little puppy whom you love. Think before you invest any money into maltesedirect, the seller is very pursuasive and you will see what I mean if you ever have the pleasure of meeting him.
