Today I recieved a check in the amount of 4,097.90 drawn on TBank in Oregon from Onlinegambling.com (which i have never been on, since I dont gamble online ever) payment verification center. So I looked up TBank and they do not exsist in Oregon, they are TX based! Common, if you are gonna write fraudulent checks atleast make sure the person has been to the site or the bank is actually in the state you are saying it is from!
As usual the letter says deposit in MY checking account and withdraw so much, call them up for further instructions and western union them so much of the money and within 48 hours I will recieve the remaining amount of money of 190,0000 minus federal taxes and surcharges... Woohoo, sounds great eh? NOT, you deposit the money then they get all your banking info and withdraw the money they said you can keep plus whatever you have in the checking account. If only they knew there is no money in my checking account, what a nice trick that would be for them!
If you recieve a letter from these folks or anyone else, unless you know them or actually have been on the site dont even think about cashing it! If you didnt know it was coming it isnt coming, unless a long lost uncle dies and leaves you money then usually the lawyer will contact you regarding it anyhow.
Stay safe this holiday season/year round and no matter how hard times may be: IF IT SOUNDS OR LOOKS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE MORE THAN LIKELY IT IS!!!
