Martha Burton @ datasightsolutions.com Sent me a fraudulent check for a bogus Walmart2Walmart Survey Internet

I am a regular participant of product testings and surveys in the Dallas area. 2-16-18 I received a 2 day USPS Priority envelope with a letter and a check from State Credit Union Bank for $1,465.00. The letter was from a Martha Burton Senior Research Analyst from a company out of Salt Lake City Utah named DataSight Solutions stating that the check covers compensations and funds needed for the survey. The letter said to email her for detailed instructions. We went back & forth with emails & she said I was to cash this check at my local bank, take out $150 and go to Walmart to conduct a secret survey to see how the employee at the Walmart2Walmart money transfer service conducted the transaction, etc. The money was to go to a person who coincidentally had my same last name in a neighboring city. Just a name & city, no phone number. I emailed that this is a lot of money to be responsible for but this Martha Burton replied to also take out $30 for the service fee. I took the letter & check to my bank & the agent said it looked like fraud- she called the SCU Bank & their rep said it was a bogus check & they have been being notified about this scam. My bank said to report this to my local police station. She said they wanted me to be scammed out of the money by getting my bank info.
