Mattress & Furniture Depot ripoff Charges but don't deliver, dishonest and carless Coram New York

I was in need of a new vinyl furniture set for my entertainment room of my home. I had a set which I purchased from a small furniture store in Long Island which had relocated. The Vinyl held up just as well as leather so I wanted to purchase another set. Anyway I went into a store, Mattress & Furniture Depot, in Coram. My husband and I saw a suitable vinyl furniture set for our entertainment room. It came with a love seat, a sofa, three tables(two end and one coffee) and two lamps.

Well we decided to write it up and purchase it. Well the salesmen John, who is also the manager asked for a deposit and we did so by leaving $100. Well our furniture was coming in and we asked to bring the balance which we did. We were informed that our furniture would cost $75 to deliver. I thought that was a little step considering I had ordered furniture that was much larger, containing more tables sofas, ottoman & chair and a large love seat from another company and further away from my home than Mattress Depot and they charged only $55. considering I had purchased the furniture from them.

Well that is not the complaint,the complaint is they delivered my furniture torn on the sofa, and fabric hanging from the love seat. But get this, NO.. tables at all. I called them and was told that it was an mistake and that I would recieve Wednesday and that at that time someone that handles furniture repairs would be out A.S.A.P.

Well guess what. It's Wednesday at 2:30 and have been waiting home all day. I just called and spoke to a man who told me they are not delivering my tables today and they are working on getting someone out to me but don't know when. I asked why was I told Wednesday, I've wasted my time waiting on your company. He replied I don't know and it's really nothing I can do. He then told me I should come pick up the tables. I asked why did I pay the $75 if I have to pick up my own furniture, he said well you got some of you merchandise didn't you. I was in disbelief. He basically hung up on me after telling me to take it up with the manager John who is not available to talk to me. I can't believe that with all the other furniture places in Long Island, #1-I found them!! and

They would be so rude and carless to customers that can also be future customers. Well sadly for them I just got married and have about four more rooms to furnish and they will NOT get my business at all.

They have absolutely no respect for the customers and do not keep to their agreements. I paid for a service that was not rendered and so far it looks like I may have to find a truck to get my three tables, or otherwise I am going to be given the run arounds.
