When looking for a new IT service provider to assist my growing company I had worked with the owners previous business. Mavericks' current owner, working under his previous company, billed for services never rendered and misrepresented his companies capabilities and dedication to service. I had numerous issues regarding coverage and getting what I paid for, ultimately I dropped his service because of the rampant over billing and failure to complete projects. Just be aware that the owner has a history of taking advantage of people that have limited tech knowledge and he likes to use pressure tactics when pitching a contract. Make sure contracts spell out exactly what you are getting for the cost because I fell into the trap of need versus time and his smooth talk and pressure tactics got me to sign a vague contract that left too much open for interpretation. He would regularly tell me that things were not covered "per the contract" even though following the verbal agreement would have had things covered. It was my fault that things went on as long as they did and just wanted to warn other people or companies about this company's disreputable owner/operator.
