Maximum security alarm system Monitornics Deceptive texas

May 2014 I received a call stating that my alarm service was about to expired and I need to renew before it expired, at the time I had alarm services with ADT so I thank them for contacting me  because I was not aware there was a expiration on the alarm system, the Rep. Gave me three choices and I picked them $29.99 and was told they had to replace the system I had to a diff more efficient system so I made an appointment and waited all day, into the night, i received a call that they would be at my home around 8:30 that night, which I inform them I do not feel comfortable with them coming that Late so a rescheduled,

all this time under the assumption I was dealing with ADT because when I express my satisfaction with they never said this was a different company. On May 24th a installation person came to install the system wearing just a blue shirt with his name, he arrived late and I was on my way to a graduation i told him I was rushed and we should reschedule he state that it would only take 10 minutes so I allowed him the time, after installation I signed a Tablet,since I was still under the assumption this was ADT I did not ask for a receipt,

however when he pull out the Monitronics sign I ask if ADT  changed there name and was told no they all affiliated.I was told to call the office and  cancel the account, I called ADT and found that they had nothing to do with Maximum security. I called maximum security and express my dissatisfaction and dismay to learn I was lied to by them. The representative told me I cannot cancel, I inform them  I would stop payment because I do not want there service, she said I signed a contract I inform I never receive a copy of the contract. As of todate. Still no contract yet they refuse to cancel the account and continue  harass me.
