I had transferred funds to MBNA from other banks to buy a car with cash for a very good deal enabling me to save about $4,000.
First 3 times MBNA refunded my credit balances without any delays, but at the 4th time MBNA did not refund saying that MBNA was waiting for the fund to clear, which was false, because the fund was transferred electronically. I spoke with the MBNA customer satisfaction rep supervisor who said that he did not know there was a request for refund, which was another lie. I raised my voice being angered by MBNA's repeated lies. Then the supervisor asked me why I was making the repeated fund transfers, and I answered that I was doing it to accumulate funds to buy a car with cash for a very good deal.
Finally MBNA made the final refund, after about 5 days delay, and I lost the good deal in purchasing the car with cash, and MBNA suspended my account along with 2 other accounts, which belonged to my son, simply because the account involved was jointly held by me and my son, tells me lies that all 3 accounts were closed permanently, while MBNA NetAccess Internet statement shows them as suspended temporarily.

Sounds Fishy

It seems that MBNA was just trying to make sure that whatever you were doing wasnt ILLEGAL. Definetly sounds like there wasn't something totally right about this whole deal. When you try to play GAMES by moving $$$ or whatever & then say you would save $4000.00 and such. Sounds like it could be ILLEGAL or such to me. I think you were scamming or doing something wrong & got caught & now you are griping cause they cut you off.......OH WELL.
