Merchants' Credit Guide Co. false collection agency Ripoff Chicago Illinois

After we experienced identity theft, therefore closing all credit accounts or the ability to open new accounts, the Merchants' Credit Guide Co. sent us a letter demanding payment for an account we did not open.
When I called thier number to disput the account, they repeatedly transfered me, refused to give thier names or the names of their supervisors and eventually hung up on me when. All of this occurred after I mentioned I needed informaiton for my on going police investigation.
I have never had a company act so suspiously. I will pursue criminal investigation.
