Stay far, far way from this company.  Very unprofessional and complete scam selling a product they don't deliver, here is my story.

I was called by merchants Quest soliciting my company's business in March 2012. They provide leads for $65 a pop for a merchant cash advance.  I used them once before 5 years back but, I wasn't getting much return on my investment and had a bad feeling they were selling to more than 3 clients as promised---so I decided to stop using them.  They basically do SPAM faxes.  My rep Patrick, tells me that things have changed and they replace bad leads with good ones and all his clients are making money off of these leads now.  So I took the bait and wired them $650 for 10 leads.

Granted I received my 10 leads but, they were nothing like they should of been.  For $65 each, I expected to talk to someone interested in obtaining funding.  5 of the 10 I still never spoke to. 1 sold his business, 1 has been closed for last 3 months, and 3 told me they have no interest in any funding. Of the 10 I would say 1 was legitimate.

Now here comes the part where I call my rep and see what is going on, after no call backs for a week, the owner Steven Pasha calls me saying my rep no longer works there (of course).  He says how he hooked me up with great leads and I explained to him that they were not what I was told they would be. Basically talking to a brick wall, standing by his product. At this point I request a refund and he offers to send 4 more leads, since refund wasn't happening I said I would take them.  Another week goes by and 1 lead comes in who is not interested again, in fact the lady screamed at me to never call there again when all I said was hello.  At this point I request a refund of half the leads I originally purchased and requested no leads be sent to me although 3 were owed technically.  I just wanted this over with.  Wasted so much time and effort for nothing and the lack of response on their end wasn't helping me either.

Again a week goes by no response from the owner.  So I google the owner's name, do some digging and he comes up that he works for EZ Business Loans doing merchant cash advances.  Sort of a conflict of interest when your a lead company and you sell the leads to companies who do the same thing you do--when you route the good leads to yourself and give the crap leads out to others. I realize I am out only $650 and I'm sure they scammed others out of much more but, I wanted to get this out there so other people don't get taken advantage of.  It's a shame that people like this are out there taken advantage of small business owners in this economy.

Sabrina and Stephen gave expected responses from a fraudulent company.

Funny how for 2 months they don't contact their client who is upset with their services and until he files a complaint then they deem themselves as a legitimate company.

They were correct in that I did use this company 5 years ago for 10 different lead orders but, had bad results so stopped using them after finding out they were selling to more brokers than advertised.  Was contacted for years asking me to come back and I expressed my concerns over their practices.  Salesperson explained that was the past and going forward any lead that wasn't what I ordered and was unresponsive would be replaced/refunded.

Bottom Line
A) was lied to by salesperson who magically doesn't wort work there anymore the day after I paid my invoice.
2) No attempt was made to correct the issues until weeks after the fact
3) No attempt to refund my money when I asked
4) No calls back from owner

I have been in business for 9 years with 5 reps and your absolutely right I do work from my million dollar home I worked my butt of for.

Another note--now their spam emails have ez business loans on them--covering one's rear

#2 UPDATE Employee

Mr. Harris is Completely Wrong and PayPal Ruled in Merchants Quest's Favor

AUTHOR: Sabrina - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, June 25, 2012

Mr. Harris' entire statement is false. First, he claims, "I used them once before 5 years back." Not true, since 2009 he has spent $4,112.9 with us during the span of six orders. His first invoice was placed on 4/27/09, his second was on 7/16/09, his third was on 8/12/09, his fourth was on 10/25/09, his fifth was on 12/28/10 and his sixth was on 4/12/12. Why keep buying  from a company you deem as deceitful?

Secondly, we never had an employee named Patrick, I believe he is referring to William. Thirdly, he asked that 4 of the 10 leads he purchased be returned because he deemed them as "bad." We agreed to replace the 4 leads he claimed were bad (even though the other two parties they were sold to did not deem them as "bad" and neither did our lead manager). He rejected that offer and requested his money back for the 4 "bad" leads. We agreed and then he refused the offer and placed a claim with PayPal.

Fortunately, we are a company that keeps impeccable records and once we showed PayPal our email correspondence with Mr. Harris (proving our attempts to satisfy his unjust requests), the contract he signed and the six invoices reflecting his past orders with us, they ruled in our favor. PayPal is a neutral third party that receives their processing commission either way regardless of who they agree with; therefore, it is fair to say that they made a fair judgement and the correct one at that.

This is simply a case of an individual salesman who could not compete with our other buyers.

Mr. Brian Harris, Your Claim is False

AUTHOR: Steven Pasha - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, June 14, 2012

Mr. Brian Harris, your claim is false: You mentioned in your report "I used them once before 5 years back", actually you purchased leads from us about 10 times. It's a shame you made this report after we consistently helped you and always gave you extra leads to help you do business (we know you work at home in your PJ's). We never had a rep named Patrick, besides you know you can always talk to me, we have spoken over the last "5 years". That is correct I do stand by my product, that is correct Ez Business Loans is our marketing name. You have several admissions of guilt in your statement. Try to close a merchant and make some money instead of complaining. Good Luck out there!

-Steven Pasha
