Michael E Kwilos - Scam artist Also goes by the names of Mike Kwilos, Mike Murphey, Michael Schmidt Claims to have a business called "Classic Auto Leasing" with three locations: Naperville, IL Schaumburg, IL Orland Park, IL
What he actually does is go from dealership to dealership posing as a potential customer wanting to do an "extended test drive" because he does not have his own car. He will NEVER buy!
As far as his business...... He goes on Craigslist to hire an "Assistant", but there is a catch. You have to be an assistant with benefits. He will pay you "$2,000 cash" a week upfront. You will get a "company car". Yet, you will be there to pick him up from his so-called doctors appointments, hospital visits in the suburbs and he never pays a dime. Instead, he gives you a sob story which leads you to LEND HIM MONEY. He is very convincing and promises so much but will never deliver and just put you in debt.

Warrant arrest
Michael Edward Kwilos, of the 5100 block of Fairview Drive, Downers Grove was arrested at 12:36 a.m. in the 100 block of North Church Road on an original warrant for theft/deception, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. His bail was $30,000.

You would have to be really stupid to fall for this person's scam. Everyone knows all the personal assistant jobs on CL are scams. If they somehow don't, then the promise of two grand paid upfront should be a good indicator! No one gets paid two grand a week for being an "assistant". And then once the person does not receive the money upfront but excuses, they should know to run in the opposite direction.
