Mid island auto wreckers My husband was in contact with the place on 9/10/15. We needed a transmission for my car. They had it. They said it had 60,000 miles on it. So we told them that my husband will be driving from Groton,CT to Long Iland to get it (which is 4 hours there). They said that they will rip it our on 9/11/15. Which they did. My husband called on 9/11/15 to check on things and they said OH YAH ITS ALL GOOD WE TESTED THE TRANSMISSION AND IT IS ALL GOOD. THAT IS ONLY GOOD BUSINESS IF WE DO THAT.Deer Park New York

So my husband drove 4 hours $20 in tolls received the transmission thinking this place was on the up and up. When my husband got home he took off the medatronics and took it to a transmission store to see if there was any codes on the transmission. This is whre the lies come in. THE TRANSMISSION HAS 106,000 MILES ON IT, NOT 60,000 IT WAS THROWING CODES FOR 4,5 DOES NOT WORK. 6 MONTHES AGO IT WAS THOWING CODES 1,2. We have all of the documentation. Today my husband calls your company and ytells them this transmission is no good and he was lied to and he wants to return it. YOUR COMPANY WANTS TO CHARGE ME 25% SERVICE CHARGE. YOU LIED. WHAT KIND OF CRAZYNESS IS ALL OF THIS. THERE IS NO WAY I SHOULD BE CHARGED. YOUR PLACE IS A RIP OFF WITH LIERS. My husband went there today to return the transmission and he was charge $400 for a service fee this company did nothing my husband traveled four hours down there for hours home through tolls in this company lie to us and the guy was stupid he said that you can hook up the transmission and find out the mileage yeah Yaya and if you knew anything about cars he would know that a BMW was all computerized and you could hook up the Magitronic up to a computer the computer the course $40,000 it'll tell you the mileage and how many codes it thRows.
