Long story I will try and make brief. I had financial troubles, I entered into an agreement with Consumer Credit Counseling Services, they are great. I had a call from JA Cambese Law firm about a debt. I made payment arrangements that they abruptly cancelled after getting a few hundred dollars from me. I filed a complaint with the Attorney general, never heard again from Cambese. Then Capital Credit called me about the same bill.
I sent a validation letter, they stopped. Suddenly, Midland Credit called me, I sent validation letter they ignored. NOw I have a notice to appear in Smalll Claims court, filed by Midland Credit. They are taking me to court!! What do I do? Am I going to lose this case? The debt is about 5 years old but I did make a few payments more recently to Cambese, that that reactivate the SOL?
