Scam Warning-General Labor-Mike Whitesides (HQ Remodeling)
To all those who are seeking work. Mike Whitesides (HQ Remodeling)
We work hard for our money to take care of our families and pay our bills. This guy Mike Whiteside who owns HQ Remodeling hired me to help him handle BOSE store in McLean, VA this week. There was not mention of doing any work that day only to look at the work. I arrived at location after not getting the address twice. I had to get two texts from him to get the correct address. He was very rude about us showing up late because he gave us the bad directions.
My helper and I worked for 5 hours. He and his son took off at the 5 hours mark to hit Home Depot. The were gone for a good long time. There was no mention of the following:

I have emailed him several times to demand payment for service rendered. He refuses to pay up. Do not work for this guy or his family. He is very impatient and micromanages all work. He says he knows electrical work- but has no idea what 220volts looks like or LED looks like.
