Milford Smiles, Dr. Ted Goldberg, Billing Issues Milford Massachusetts

After reading another complaint from a consumer about deceptive billing at the business listed in the complaint I felt I had to write this. I thought it was just an oversight but now I am not sure. I recieved a bill from Milford Smiles last year and it had a charge for a procedure done in the office which I did not have done. I had gone there to have a tooth checked that was giving me trouble. They examined it and cleaned the tooth to get a better look at it and then recommended that I have a root canal done. I did not have the root canal done at this office, but they billed me for this procedure that put my insurance over the allowed coverage.

When I called them they said I had this procedure doen which I did not, well after arguing with them about the bill which I would now be responsible for it was finally removed from my account. I have since switched dentist for other reasons than the one listed above. Members of my family were also told by this dentist that they needed thousands of dollars worth of work done by Dr. Goldberg and after a second opinion it was discovered that they did not need this work done. I wonder how many other people have had these issues with this office and spent thousands on uneccessary work on their teeth.
