i purchased a new commander from milton ruben chevrolet,reggie my saleman was extremly nice and helpful,he told me that milton ruben would make sure i was satisfied. a few hours later, i didn't like the commander and it didn't operate the way i thoght it should so i called reggie, he said it wouldn't be any problem to return the vechicle and get mine back. so i took the vechicle back the next morning-i purchased the night before and was told to wait until thursday, so they could the paper work in order. however i didn't drive the new vechicle until i took it back-it had 20 miles on it at time of purchase and 60 miles at return. upon returning i was then told the only way to get my jeep back was that i had to do paper work and return as a used vechicle-even thought it was not-i paid over 25000.00 with rebates of 10000.00, however they said they marked the car @ 20000.00 because of depreciation and my car - they are charging me 11000.00 to re-purchase, so they said i owed them 15000.00 to get my car back i only owed the bank 2000.00 that they said they paid off, however they have not paid to this date. they also keep all 10000.00 in rebates. so the have 230000.00 they acuat. stold from me and the rebates-help! i had to charge this to my credit card to get my car,they lied when they told me i could just come in and swap my car back after signing the contract-my salesman there Reggie told me he couldn't believe that they was doing this he was just as upset as i was. he told me that i should fight this-can you help me get my money back that milton ruben stold!

its been a while now and the thing i learned from this is never trust anyone by their smile or word!
please get everything in writing and make sure its signed!!! I'll of course never do business with Milton Ruben Chev. again and I can only advise anyone who does to make sure they have a witten agreement about what they are promised! They appeared to be so nice and trust worthy-this is my fault for trusting them. However i will continue to warn everyone everyday about these people and let them know the true facts!So be careful with all businesses and make sure, as i stated-to get it in writing. Those smiles are 90% false, so aweful that we can no longer trust people. They are only in it for the money. i learned and aweful and very expensive lesson about that dealership!Like they say, if its to good to be -- it is!

i do not agree with you. i was told by the car salesman-reggie that i could bring the commander back and have my jeep-he told me that wouldn't be a problem. the thing is-i shouldn't had been mislead to believe if i didn't like the new jeep that i could not change my mind-i was told that if i wasn't happy, to bring it back. the deal was when i took it back, i waited several hours and was told that they had to run the paper work first, then i could get my jeep back-i told them ok-i wouldn't drive the commander-which had just 10 miles over what it had the day i got it,the salesman new i wasn't sure and promised if i wasn't happy i didn't have to keep it. so being unhappy-i took it right back and my carsalesman personally told me i was ripped off-their own employee told me that! he said they thought i would change my mine and keep the commander-i hadn't even given them my jeep liberty yet and they had almost sold it to someone else-while it was still in my name-thats why im angry-they lied several times to me. yes i should had never listen to anything they told me-because it was a way to trick me-but never again. they also never had my keys to my jeep,therefore they also lied when they said they had to put it in the shop to check it out-guess what-it was still sitting in the same place i parked it the night before. you do not understand the whole story-and you can't because you were not there. it would be like you going into a place of business and you was told that they where so sure that you where going to love they product and they would stand behind it-you are not happy so the next morning you tell them-you would expect them to stand behind their word-but they decided not to because they just wanted to make that sale no matter what they had to say to make it-no matter what the truth was!

the dealership shouln't have told you you could return the commander,then give you a different story when you arrived. i too had bad experiences with milton on van i purchased, it had prev. been wreck and when i purchased it this was not mention,also i had so many problems with it i had to get rid of it.
i was told used vechicles had to be inspected,yet the van was not. they lied to me also. and yes they do not really give you full value on your vecheicle. sorry about the guy in jacksonville; hes probably a car salesman too!!

However, there is no 'cool down period' in auto sales. If you buy a car, it's yours! What I couldn't understand is the part of 'I didn't like the Commander and it didn't operate the way I thought it should' (I corrected the mis-spellings).
How should a new Jeep operate??? Bottom line is you bought the car, no matter WHAT the car salesman says, you can't return it. Most dealers that I've dealt with lately allow you to keep a potential car overnight to evaulate it first before comitting to buying. But you said you didn't like it after a few hours...Obviously you didn't even take this car on a test drive, or if you did, you didn't take it on the highway. You're in the wrong here. You are not entitled to your money back just because you changed your mind about the new car.

hi, iv received an email back from my report to the bbb against milton ruben, they threaten to take me to court if i didn't shut up! nice people huh! lets just say i'v found that you have to be careful in whom you trust,especially when you are purchasing a car from a dealership,i was warned before how they take advantage of people-however i was flat out ripped off and they still are lying about it.
i'll never do business with them and if you do you may want to take along a lawyer to make sure they hold up to their promises about customer satisfation! i didn't get it, i'll never let anyone take advantage of me like they did again! may God take care of all people who can rob others!!!And by the way-i would take a lie detector test to prove its not me that is lying!

I emailed a complaint and requested that someone in mangement or ownership review my complaint,Victoria in finance called and asked me to come in and talk with them about my problem. So I did and it was another mistake! She told me the only problem that she had with my contracts was that it should had been worded differently, in other words she politey told me that she would had done a better job of trying to hid the figures.
However I canceled the warrenty on the new vechicle that I took back and recieved a refund of 2742.00 back. So I'm just out of a little over 10,000.00 that Mlton ruben decided to keep. She told me that it was the end of there month to close out salesman's sales for commissions. She also said she couldn't or wouldn't try to help. They are just all about money-not customer satisfaction at all-that was just another lie!
When I asked her why they charged me more for my car the next day, I was told because I received rebates, however the rebates were kept by Milton Ruben Chevrolet-SO not only did they rob me of 10000.00, they made of with 6000.00 in rebate money and then the new vechicle that i try to returned-they credited it back 20000.00 and charged me an additional 10000.00. And then sold the vechicle for 26,000.00-racking in another 6000.00. total extra money to dealer was 22000.00!
Please do not trust their smiling faces and their promises of customer satisfaction-because you will be ripped just like i was. Now all I know to do is warn everyone I can by this report,flyers,faxes,through public places-schools, churches,meetings and bussinesses in all the csra.
I really don't know how these people can actually live with theirselves. Maybe my money along with rebate money and the other poor indidual that they ripped after me! I have to get the word out-please warn everyone-i have proof-anyone can review and see for theirselves! I hope everyone reading this will notify Milton Ruben and let them know how wrong and disgusting they are.
