Golden West plumbing Golden West will try to sell you a new furnace that you don't need and lie to you. Denver CO

I called Golden West to check on a noise from a furnace for a house rental. A technical arrived on a Friday about 3 pm.  The tech was Anthony G. Anothonybtold me that he could not repair this furnace.  The furnace needed a new heat exchanger and had cracks in the unit.  Anthony said he was required to shut off the furnace because he detected carbon monoxide leaking.  Anything insisted that the furnace was old and needed a new one.  

Anthony turned the furnace off on a Friday night when the temperature would drop to 9 degrees.  He did not offer to provide space heaters to the tenants. Anthony used strong arm techniques to try to sell a furnace on a Friday night that I did not need.  he tried to sell a new furnace for thousands when a simple repair was required. I had the West Metro Fire respond to check the gas levels on the furnace. They found nothing unsafe with the furnace.  

I called a reputable heating company and charged me $125.00 to clean and adjust the belt. They also found no cracks or gas leaking in the furnace. This furnace is old but still functions fine.  

I called Michelle who is the manager of Golden West and made my complaint. He did say I was not responsible for the bill I was sent.  

I belive Golden West to be liars and a unethical business that will try to sell you a furnace for thousands that you do not need.  I will say Anthony G is a thief for trying to scam a person like me who knows a little about furnaces. 

It's unbelievable for such a company that says they care about the customer to leave tenants without heat on a night when the temp will drop to 9 degrees.  Completely dishonest business practice.   Lies lies lies.......
