I completed an application on-line for a loan with the Money Garden Financial Group.  Upon approval, I began working with Brian Wright.  He served as my account representative.  Initially, I provided $497.70 as a security deposit.  After providing the money, there was trouble receiving the $10,000 I was "guaranteed" and then the supposed bank that the money was coming though dropped the loans it was projected to fund.  Then the MGFG picked up another lender.  Of course, the terms with the new lender changed and required a larger security deposit.  I complied with the request since I was in need of the $10,000 I had applied for.  This went on for approximately 3 weeks.  The last conversation I had with Brian Wright and then Mary Bennett involved them telling me there was a problem with their bank and they were going to go down to "Legal" to find out what was going on.  I left several messages via voice mail for Mr. Wright, and email as well, but never received a response.  I attempted to call today, and it immediately went to a message that said, "We're sorry, but this mail box has been filled, call at a later time."  Mmm, hmm.

Also, in submitting the security deposit funds, I sent the money via MoneyGram and Western Union (dumb, I know), to an individual by the name of Ian Jeffrey.

It is AGAINST THE LAW for a lender to ask for ANY money up front for a personal loan. Do you not know this ?????  And to top off the stupidity, there are SIGNS posted all over the Western Union office warning you NOT to send the money to those scammers  !!!  AND - the SAME warning is printed RIGHT ON the form that you filled out and signed !!!   Just how stupid can one person be ????  Geeeeezzzzzzzzz.  Forrest Gump certainly had it right - Stupid is, as stupid does.
