motormart made to belive i got approved for car finance and once i payed for the car to be taken off sale i dont hear anything of the finance arranged and get told they will ring back every time i phone. manchester, Nationwide

I am writnig to report motormart for falsly making me and my partner belive we had been approved for car finance. they said its all approved and just require make and model of the car im seeking then they said i need to pay 150 to take the car off sale which we both saved up and payed.

after this sum was payed i got a phone call asking if my partner had a full uk passport and if i had one which made us belive it has gone through and we should be getting a call to pick up the car and pay the remaining 149 deposit,

we did not recieve such call so i phoned for an update on our application where i was told it had been past to one of their managers to be looked over, this puzzled me as we had been told its all approved so why would it need to be checked over again, they said a manager will be phoning in the hour so  i said ok and waited,

2 and a half hours passed still no call so i phoned back just to get told the person whos dealing with me is on lunch and they would get him to call me back at 3pm so i waited again...

4.30pm and still no call so  phoned them again and tryed to find out whats going on but they wouldnt talk too me just said someone will be calling you tomorrow and since i couldnt do anything els i waited.

today i have had the exact same as yesterday getting told il be rang back and still they havnt rang... iv asked for a refund and instead of just refunding me there and then im told the manager that deals with refunds is out of the office and will call you when he gets back in. and if you had guessed, i havnt been rang back and starting to feel now that i have been ripped off and that my money has been taken by deception. i need the money back as a genuine car company have offered me finance and i need the car for work. what can i do?????
