Moving 4 Less BAIT AND SWITCH, DISHONEST SERVICE, FALSE ADVERTISING, UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE - DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!!!! West New York New Jersey

We were moving from an apartment to a house. I had called these movers a week and a half in advance. Out of all of the companies I spoke with, these guys quoted me the most competitive rate. They said they'd give us two men and one truck for 2 hours for $299.00 and any additional hour would $89.00, and these rates was inclusive of tax and gratuity. I verified with the person that quoted me numerous times because they were cheaper than a lot of the other companies I had spoken to earlier.

The day of when they showed up, they hit me with a bill of $289/hour and we were billed for 3 hours ($289*3 hours) and additionally, we were charged on top of that with junk fees such as "materials, tax, and gratuity." To add insult to injury within the 3 hours they billed me for, the movers spent 45 minutes eating lunch. After arguing with the owner over the phone, he agreed to give us $100 back and blamed it on "miscommunication". By now I was exhausted and even though I was still upset, there was nothing I could do about it, so I gladly took the $100; they gave this back to me in cash.

Afterwards I laid the $100.00 in a toolbag that I zipped up in the basement (which the movers saw me do), and then when I went to grab it out of the toolbag later, the money was gone.

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T USE THESE GUYS. THEY CHEATED ME AND MY FAMILY, BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY, WHAT CAN YOU DO. MONEY COMES AND GOES, AND YOU LIVE AND YOU LEARN. HOWEVER PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST PEOPLE. THEY ARE OUT TO GET YOU AND I DON'T WANT ANYONE ELSE FALL FOR THE SAME BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS THIS MOVING COMPANY USED ON ME.
