Mr. Car LLC They went back on their agreement, waited until I fixed a $3000 transmission and then repo'ed my truck ON PURPOSE!! Brentwood, Maryland

I bought a 2002 Ford Explorer in late Jan 2010 that had well over 100,000 miles on it. I put down $3000. Mr. Car toted that it was a one owner car. In Sept 2010 the transmission began slipping. I called Mr. Car to let them know what happened. They told me to leave a message with Daniel, the owner. I left message after message for him and every time I called they had an excuse as to why he wasn' t there. After no communication from them I put the truck in a well known and established repair shop in Alexandria, VA. Once there the transmission repair man tells me that the casing that houses the transmission has been somehow glued back together. That signaled to me that this truck was knowingly damaged before I bought it. I let Mr. Car know that they sold me a messed up truck and there was no way that I could the repair for bill to fix the transmission on the truck with was $3000 and the car note especially since I couldn't drive it. Daniel agreed. After renting cars for two months and making out my credit card trying to save up the $1000 deposit needed to get the truck out of the repair shop of 11/27/10 I get the truck back. I also put up and extra 5 posted dated checks to cover the remaining balance of $1900. I wake up 12/02/10 night and notice that the truck is gone. Mr. Car had repo'ed it after I spoke with Daniel and had an agreement with him since the truck was jacked up. I called them once they opened on 12/03/10 to ask why they repo'ed the car after Daniel made an agreement with me and asked them that if they wanted the car back why didn't they take it from the repair shop during the past two months its been sitting there. The lady who takes the payments told me that pretty much they waited until I repaired the transmission so that when they repo'ed it they wouldn't have to fix it and that they don't know of any agreement. Also in order for me to get the truck back I have the pay them $1,097 and if I don't want it back I have to pay the tow company $50 to get my personal belongings and tags off of the car.
